Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference Calls for Neighborhood Award Nominations

Planning Committee is delighted to announce the opening of the 2014 Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference Awards Program, recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding neighborhood organizations and civic individuals from across the Commonwealth who work tirelessly to enhance the quality of life in their communities. The following four (4) NEIGHBORHOOD AWARD categories are available for entries:
- Project of the Year
- Advocate of the Year
- Youth Individual Effort of the Year
- Youth Group Effort of the Year

To be considered, nominees must email/mail/postmark their completed application by the August 1, 2014 deadline to:

All award nominees are encouraged to register to attend the 15th Annual Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference being held in Lynchburg, VA on September 18-19, 2014. During the 2014 Awards Program luncheon being held on Friday, September 19, 2014, all award finalists and winners will be featured and announced. The award winners of each category will be asked to provide a 5-minute presentation on their successful award submission during the ceremony.
Submissions received after the deadline or with missing information may not be considered.
