Arlington, Virginia welcomed attendees to the 17th Annual Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference on September 30-October 1, 2016 at the Sheraton Pentagon City located at 900 S Orme St, in Arlington. Conference attendees were provided educational and mobile workshops, networking opportunities, motivational speakers, a Neighborhood Awards Program ceremony recognizing those volunteers who had invested their time and energy toward improving the quality of life in their neighborhoods, and a Youth Café specifically designed to engage youth in their community. Neighborhood residents from across Virginia came together for this one-and-a-half day event to help their neighborhoods reach a better tomorrow by sharing their knowledge, experience, and vision on how to make Virginia’s neighborhoods the neighborhoods of choice.
