2021 Youth Café
The virtual 21st Annual Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference Youth Café creates a new phase of learning for youth between the ages of 13-18 years of age with workshops designed specifically to engage, empower, and enlighten them.
Youth are our future community leaders. And by participating in the Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference Youth Cafe, youth conference participants will virtually interact with their peers from across Virginia to learn about civic volunteer and outreach efforts they are undertaking to make a difference in their communities while developing new friendships and relationships along the way.
This year's 2021 conference Youth Café will begin with a panel discussion where panelists will speak on the topic of "Collaborating Together to Create Safe and Thriving Neighborhoods". This discussion will be followed by 3 youth workshops/activities: Workshop 1A "The Power Within", Workshop 2B: "Principles of Life & Leadership (Mind, Management, and Money)" and a final activity, "My Story". The 2021 Youth Cafe' will conclude with the conference's signature event, the Annual Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Awards Program.
